theartVIEw joined well over 20.000 people on the
HIV Human Rights March demonstrating peacefully with samba music and vuvuzelas for "Rights Here, Right Now" along the Ring in Vienna, passing the parliament, decorated with a huge red ribbon.
The demo peaked at the Heldenplatz with several speaches by politicans and HIV activists and a concert by Annie Lennox. Lennox presended also her
SING campaign, which helps woman and children with HIV in South Africa and tries to prevent spreading of the desease.
The demo was one of the highlights of the
XVIII. International AIDS Conference held from July 18th - 23rd in Vienna.
