"Alex Katz – Prints" at the Albertina, Wien

Generously Alex Katz, New York's king of painterly cool, recently donated his complete oeuvre of prints to the Albertina and 150 of the best works of his over fifty years long career are now shown in Vienna (until Aug. 29). Alex - at almost 83 still a "modern dandy " - together with his wife Ada were the center of interest in the packed exhibition halls.

Erst kürzlich hat der 82jährige New Yorker Künstler Alex Katz sein gesamtes druckgrafisches Oeuvre der Albertina zum Geschenk gemacht. Jetzt zeigt die Albertina 150 ausgewählte Werke aus der mehr als fünfzig Jahre anhaltenden Karriere von Alex Katz (bis 29.Aug.).
