For the first time in Austria the mumok shows a representative overview of Dan Flavin’s light works. With around thirty works, the spectrum stretches from early icons through the monuments for Tatlin on to room-filling works. The show reveals the artistic diversity and developmental possibilities that Flavin was able to draw out of commercially available fluorescent light tubes. Curator: Rainer Fuchs.
