BEAUTY AND TRANSIENCE at Essl Museum

This show at the Essl Museum facilitates, through art, a discussion on central human issues and hopes to inspire viewers to challenge their own ideas about Beauty and Transience and contemplate the subjects presented.
Works by Jörg Immendorff, Jannis Kounellis, Zoran Mušič, Marc Quinn, Daniel Spoerri und Antoni Tàpies. 05 October 2011 – 22 January 2012, Main Hall with reading evenings at the Essl Museum.

Die Ausstellung im Essl Museum läd ein anhand von Kunstwerken eigene Vorstellungen über zentrale menschliche Fragestellungen von SCHÖNHEIT UND VERGÄNGLICHKEIT zu hinterfragen und sich kontemplativ mit den Inhalten zu beschäftigen.
Werke von Jörg Immendorff, Jannis Kounellis, Zoran Mušič, Marc Quinn, Daniel Spoerri und Antoni Tàpies. Begleitet wird die Ausstellung von einer Lesereihe im Essl Museum. 05.10.2011 – 22.01.2012, Großer Saal.

Il Jardino di Daniel Spoerri

From thartVIEw's archive - The Garden of Daniel Spoerri, who had his 80th birthday in March 27  2010, full of artworks by him and artist friends. The Jardino is beautifully situated near Seggiano, Italy.

Ein Rundgang im Garten von Daniel Spoerri zu seinem 80sten Geburtstag (27. März). In der Nähe von Seggiano in der Toscana hat Spoerri eine riesigen Landschaftsgarten mit eigenen Skulpturen und Kunstwerken seiner Freunde angelegt.
