VIENNA GALLERY WEEKEND Inner City May 2015

Gallery Emanuel Layr shows seven Paintings by Birgit Megerle. At the Groundfloor Mario Mauroner Contemporary MAM opens "Sweet Dreams (are made of this)" with works by Carlos Aires. Downstairs in roomnumberOne Ulla Rauter presents new works. At Elisabeth & Klaus Thoman you can see works by Michael Kienzer and "drawings now" with works by Siegfried Anzinger, Éva Bodnár, Gina Lee Felber, Thomas Feuerstein, FORT, Johanna Freise, Dieter Fuchs, Bruno Gironcoli, Katharina Hinsberg, Muntean/Rosenblum, Walter Pichler, Arnulf Rainer and Paul Thuile. Martha Jungwirth shows works on cardboard and paper at Gallery Krinzinger.

GALLERY KRINZINGER shows paintings and a sound installation by FRANZ GRAF titled Fun (alternative(Begraebnisse =E RAL and at the Mezzanin works by MERET OPPENHEIM and some photos of the artist by ANNA BLAU.
GALLERY KONZETT has put together A TRIBUTE TO FRANZ WEST with works by FW, Herbert Brandl. Martin Kippenberger, Gelatin, Hans Kupelwieser, Albert Oehlen, Raymond Pettibon and many more.
At MARIO MAURONER CONTEMPORARY ART you can see sculptures made of or combined with neon lights by BERNHARD ROIG.
TAL R is guest at GALLERY ELISABETH & KLAUS THOMAN with FOG OVER MALIA BAY with works inspired by a expedition to Greenland in summer 2011.
TOM FRUIN's Sketches in Steel at GALLERY HEIKE CURTZE show small skale sketches and studies for Fruin's monumental sculptures.

Vienna Gallery Weekend in District 1 + 2

VIENNA GALLERY WEEKEND tour starts in the 2nd district in the Projektraum Victor Bucher, where Marlene Hausegger shows photos under the titel Détournements as part of EYES ON - Month of Photography.
Across the Donaukanal in the heart of the city at Galerie Nächst St Stephan Rosemarie Schwarzwälder presents JOËLLE TUERLINCKX' Amicale Succursale "PROLONGATION" AROUND 'WOR((L)D)(K) IN PROGRESS?' in cooperation with Agata Jastrza Bek and with Orla Barry, Guillaume Bijl, Robert Devrient, Laurent Dupont, Christoph Fink, Gabriel Kuri, Willem Oorebeek, Emanuelle Quertain, Helmut Federle and Ria Pacquée.
Also part of Eyes One is Andrea Freiberger's "Leben eben" photographies at Galerie Hrobsky.
The show at Galerie Artmark is called "Raum, Räumlichkeit" and features János Megyik, Dóra Maurer and Tibor Gáyor.
Benjamin Hirte is guest with "A to K" at Emanuel Layr.
Mario Mauroner Contemporary presents works by Tatsuo Miyajima, Bruno Peinado, Javier Pérez, Bernhard Roig, Fernando Sánchez Castillo und im Room Number One Jochen Höller.
