Kerstin Engholm Gallery: 'PANORAMIS PARAMOUNT PARANORMAL' by CONSTANZE RUHM / EMILIEN AWADA is the prologue consisting of a short trailer, a 25-minute condensed short version of a planned feature, two series of photographs, and archival materials of a project that focuses on the site of the former film studios of St. Maurice near Paris, founded in 1913 and destroyed by fire in 1971. Georg Kargl shows photographies by JITKA HANSLOVA. There Is Something I Don’t Know refers to portraits of the renaissance. Horses cover Hanzlová's seven years long engagement with these animals since 2007. Experimental photographic works by MICHAEL PART are to be seen at Andreas Huber. The different ways of manipulation in analog movie making and photography inspired CAROLINE HEIDER for 'Day for Night' at Untitled contemporary. The exhibitions at Kargl, Huber and unttld are part of eyes_on month of photography in Vienna.

With "The Second Third" Andreas Duscha has installed a parcour about the american myth at Charim Event. The old handycraft of stitching and graffiti aesthetics influenced "as if" by Gabriele Fulterer and Christine Scherrer at Christiane König. Kargl box presents new works by Max Peintner titled "Zuschlag Mürz". Some 2000 years ago electricity could have been produced with the so called "Bagdad batterie", mit der schon vor über 2000 Jahre Elektrizität produziert sein könnte, this is the initial point for Daniel Lergon's paintings with copper at Andreas Huber.

Zwischen Sticktechnik und Graffiti Ästhetik oszilliert die Ausstellung "as if" von Gabriele Fulterer und Christine Scherrer bei Christiane König. "Städtebauliche Prosa" is the titel of a show at Kerstin Engholm Gallery withj works by HENDRIK KRAWEN, DOMINIK LOUDA, BILLIE MESKENS und BERND TRASBERGER. At Gallery Andreas Huber RITA SOBRAL CAMPOS shows sculptures and installations inspired by Friedrich II and the medieval culture - "Neon Medieval".
