Die Ausstellung "Vanity - Mode / Fotografie" mit ca. 200 Werken aus der Sammlung des Modefotografen F.C. Gundlach in der KUNSTHALLE Wien zeigt ikonographische und unbekannte Aufnahmen von den 1920er Jahren bis heute. Modefotografie als zivilisatorische Ausdrucksform zwischen Konsum und Kunst, die Zeitgeist und Menschenbild spiegelt und den Wandel der kollektiven Vorstellung von Schönheit dokumentiert. Imaginären Idealbilder und schöner Schein, surreale Bildwelten und ironische Distanz, glamouröse Studioinzenierungen und trashige Settings im urbanem Raum. 21. Oktober 2011 - 12. Februar 2012.
