Die Akademie der Bildenden Künste Wien öffnete für vier Tage ihre Tore (20. - 23. Jan. 2011) für den "Rundgang 2011" - die große jährliche Ausstellung der Arbeiten der Studenten der Akademie. Diesmal gab es genug Kunst und Atmosphäre für zwei Clips zu sehen...

To mark the 100th birthday of former Austrian Federal Chancellor Bruno Kreisky the MAK presents 49 black-and-white photographic portraits by Konrad Rufus Mueller.

Zum hundertsten Geburtstag von Bruno Kreisky (22. Jan. 1911) zeigt das MAK neunundvierzig großformatige schwarzweiß Portraits des deutschen Photographen Konrad Rufus Müller aus verschiedenen Lebensabschnitten Kreiskys.

Gallery walk in the Eschenbachgasse Jan 18, 2011

theartVIEw walks the galleries in the Eschenbachgasse - four of them with works by female artists - starting at Meyer Kainer where Heimo Zobernig has prepared an installation with paintings (till Feb. 26th). Next door Gallery Krobath shows "Flamingo Massacre", kinetic objects by Katrina Daschner. Martin Janda presents Milena Dragicevic "Erections for Transatlantica" while at Gallery Mezzanin Katrin Plavcak shows paintings "Herz aus Jean" (all till March 5th). Huge velvet spiders by Gudrun Kampl "Verwandlung" crawl the walls of Gallery Steinck (till March 1st).

Then on to Ernst Hilger Gallery in the Inner City with drawings, paintings and sculptures by Alfred Hrdlicka.

Galerienrundgang in der Eschenbachgasse: Bei Meyer Kainer hat Heimo Zobernig eine Installation mit Gemälden vorbereitet (bis zum 26. Feb.).
